I used the marinade in this recipe which I worked off of:
http://whatsgabycooking.com/carne-asada-skillet-nachos/
my my much better half is the pico and guac maker. Pico is:
1/2 red onion chopped
2 medium tomatoes chopped
juice of 1/2 a lime
1/2 C chopped cilantro
1/2-1 teaspoon seasoned salt (to taste)
Her guac:
take half the pico and combine with 4 Haas avocados. Keep it a little chunky.
It is a very tasty skillet dish.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga -

Brent.....those look highly legit brother. Have to believe was some good eating. Hope it cured your blues.

Looks awesome! Did you marinate the skirt (?). Have I complimented you on your unique granite?

@bgebrent do you have a preference with inner vs outter skirt steak? I've seen both at RD and not sure which one to try. Usually I get skirt steak at publix and I don't think they specify.Milton, GA

Marinated for five hours. Glad you noticed the rare granite. It's the only slab like it anywhere. Had it specially cut and shipped from Brazil. Very expensive stuff.Little Steven said:Looks awesome!
