Well, golly gee @Hub. I just mentioned that big 20% off sale from a few weeks ago as perhaps a reason they didn't do anything on Black Friday. And, since they didn't do anything on Black Friday that maybe they'll "do better" come Xmas.Hub said:

Although I don't have one of these, the 3hp vs my 2hp Vitamix is enticing, and the fact it is $200 less than what I paid.
Although not a lightning CM deal, this is a great Japanese angle honer. I use the built in bevel religiously. Decent price.

Saw a bunch of reviews with CI stress cracks.
Maintenance will be easy, alongside the walnut butcher block with mineral oil and beeswax.
My son will inherit this, some day.

This beautiful piece will find a permanent within reach residence in the food lab. Have a feeling, this will forever change the way I eat chopped or pulled pork and beef, and will be a great addition at breakfast for bacon and egg tacos, roti/chapati (amazes me how different cultures use the same simple, readily available, cheap, ingredients), and even presmashing burgers.stompbox said:
