No Thanksgiving leftovers, so doing a turkey on the Medium tonight

I didn't get any leftover turkey from my brother-in-law's yesterday, so I picked up a 10 lb. Butterball from Target.  Thawed it via a cooler in the sink, paper-towel dried it, oiled it, put some Dizzy Dust on it and just now put it on my Medium.  Might be around 9:00 Central tonight before I take it off.

    It's 11:25 central and I'm still standing by like a hippy in a windstorm.

    It turned out great.  I forgot to post these pics.  I enjoyed it with a bottle of Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2016.  It (the wine) was ok this year.  I don't feel too hungover today.  I got to enjoy all the things I missed on Thursday:  Properly cooked dark meat, simple cranberry sauce (no freaking pieces of orange in it!), yukon gold mashed potatoes and giblet gravy.  At 10 lbs, it was a small turkey, but since I was the only one eating it, I'll have turkey all weekend.
