RTIC sale

so today I finally ordered a soft pack 30 cammo since they were having a pre Black Friday sale $120 for a 30. I'm going to Daytona again for the 500 and the cooler I brought in last year I had to sneak past security because it was "too big and had hard plastic on the out side" the cooler that I was useing for years at different tracks across the county is no longer good so
they say. I got it in Lucy with another gate guard who was older  and got it in but I'm not gonna chance it again new track is nice but I miss the old school fell of old daytona speedway. Anyone else going to the 500?

Sadly I haven't been to Daytona since the "Famous Finish" in 1979. However I was a regular at Talladega all through the 80's and early 90's. Seems like life has just been in the way for the past several years.
About the only race that I make any more is the Snow Ball Derby in Pensacola, FL. at 5 Flags Speedway.
I may try to make the night race at Daytona this year, but the 500 falls at a real bad time for me.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

  • I have always wanted to go to Talladega that's on my list of tracks. I was at the 6hr rain delay race a few years back that went from a day to night race prob one of the best races that I have been to.I would love to go to the snow ball I love short track racing and that is more of a off the radar race i will get there one day but with 2 weeks of vacation I have to be selective where I go

Fluck NASCAR.  We'll be at golden isles for the Lucas Oil late Model opener and maybe Volusia if my work schedule allows. Try to make a dirt show. You'll never go back to a nascar race.
    Slumming it in Aiken, SC.
  • There is a dirt track about 1hr from my house New Egypt Speedway. but most of my off weekends are spent at the beach fishing. There used to be Track   non dirt they paved it in the 1990's very close by Flemington speedway but it closed up and is now a shopping center. One day if i ever win the lottery id love to open up a track put it in the center of some town to piss off the yuppies. My cooler came last night and I could not be happier! Great product! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

My favorite racing spot is Lebanon Speedway in Lebanon, MO.  Racing night is an experience that everyone should be at at least once in there life.  I went to the final at Homestead a few years back when Jeff Gordon won, and Brad K won the title.  It was a blast too, but nothing quite like that little track in the Ozarks.

No, but I do have one of the Polar Bear coolers back pack coolers in their H2O material. It's nice.

    Thank you,

I too ordered an RTIC 30 softside for the same reason..went to Martinsville race and needed a soft cooler. I have 1 YETI 20, 2 RTIC 20, 1 YETI 55, and now a RTIC 30. I like the 30 so well I ordered a couple for Christmas presents and had them dropped shipped.

Yeah I know. We do Bristol, Martinsville, Darlington, Charlotte and the 30 will also be a lot lighter than the ole Igloo I've toted for years
