Hey Focker, no clump!

Hey @Focker here's one to try. I like their sauces so added a couple of bottles of rub/seasoning to my Firecraft order when I ordered lump. (Don't tell @Lit , it was RW, he wouldn't approve.) 3.50 a bottle. Trying it out on porkchops tonight in CI over El Diablo and use a Pigtail Flipper that @RRP reccomended.

Wonder troll powers, activate! Nicely played.

My 2 cents is that Head country is awesome. Love the rub and the sauces. Nice choice. There are so many great choices out there.
-
BTW, I buy the 7# container of this stuff. Thanks @henapple
-
Just tossed them in the pan. If the smell is any indication I'll be sprinkling this stuff on everything including ice cream.

Angst from bad day driving in Nebraska. Solid sheet of ice since they decided not to work the roads. Figured I could share the love.theyolksonyou said:Wonder troll powers, activate! Nicely played.Bill Denver, CO

Well, since I can't start a fight I'll eat dinner. Good flavor on the rub. I like it.

Grub looks good so I have to ask - are you a Pigtail Flipper Master already? If not you soon will be and you'll be flipping pancakes like me!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Did pancakes two weeks ago. Not hugely successful at it but looked like a pro a time or three. There is a learning curve and apparently I've got the right handed ones which is great. Beats the heck out of tongs and spatulas. Need more practice though.RRP said:Grub looks good so I have to ask - are you a Pigtail Flipper Master already? Have tried that rub, very nice, part of a rub exchange. No clumps as I recall.

Got a contact high at a black crowes concert in the early 90s. Small venue. People blazing all over the place.
Damn kids and their ignorance of fire safety in a theater!
No one seemed too concerned though -

Still laughing about that post, and the residual drizzle, impact, that it had.
Thanks for the heads up, on Head Country. Have tried their sauce, made it through half of the bottle, before it to, went into the Meat Church cylindrical filing bin. Couldn't get over the liquid smoke. It would work with pulled pork in the crockpot though.
The rub looks decent, pricepoint too. May have to grab a bottle if I stumble upon it.
It has been a rough weekend. Had an appointment with my PCP, and we cracked open the DSM-V. After an assortment of questions, I was diagnosed with CARD, Clump Acceptance Resistance Disorder.
After another battery of tests, my doc ruled out TARD secondary to CARD.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnxSLRQsJJw
He stated I would've been directly admitted to a mental health facility if diagnosed with both, a serious life threatening condition. Thank God, I dodged a major bullet.
The only known effective treatment regimen for CARD is exposure therapy. He instructed I immediately move all of my rubs and seasonings from the pantry to my refrigerator crisper bins, with the humidity set on high, to clump up. He said, the clumpier, the better, and to only use clumped rubs going forward.
Luckily garbage day is soon, so I was able to dig out the Holy Clump, to survive short term.
Now this is where I desperately need all of your help. If you happen to have any clumped up Meat Church seasonings, please PM me, and ship them to my house. With your help, I will beat this debilitating disorder.
A gofundme page is getting set up soon by my wonderful co-workers.
They are also making brown, rubber, CLUMP AWARENESS bracelets. So you too, can show your support.
Armed with a kitty litter scoop and my gunsmith hammer, I'm ready to gear up, and fight for my life.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this trying time.

@Focker FYI, there are two or theee of the Head Country sauces. One, I believe the Hickory smoke flavor is really heavy handed on the liquid smoke. I didn't get that from the original if I'm remembering correctly. Either way, there are so many good ones, if you don't care for it, why bother? Right?
