Yep, you're all invited to N Texas Brethren Bash 11-19-2016.
This year it will be at:

Overlook Pavilion at Lake Belton
3110 FM 2271
Belton, TX 76513

November 19, 2016

It is near Temple TX. Nice location, great facilities and easy in and out for most of us. There is a large Pavilion with quite a few picnic tables. On site restrooms and running water at the hose bib. You can bring your camp chairs and coolers if you like.

If you want to bring your BGE Egg, cabinet smoker, PBC, UDS, or stick burner cooker that's great. If not, we should have space somewhere if you want to bring something to cook.
And if you just want to hang out, possible have a few adult beverages and partake in some great food and Q, well that's OK too.

Looks like I will bring along my BGE MiniMax this year.

Just click on the sign up sheet in my Signature Line, on the BBQ Brethren Forum and let us know who's coming please.

We will be there pretty much all day. Any questions just let us know.
Paul, pjteaxas1, is a local and can answer pretty much any question about the area.

So go ahead sign up, bring what you want and we will see you there !!

    @piney We understand. I worked out our calendar of Eggfests and other cooking events the other day and our Spring 2017 is pretty much full!!

    8 DAYS till the N Texas Brethren Bash

    We have decided what to cook on our BGE MinMAX at the BASH!

    Jalapeño Beef and Cheddar Sausage (Low and Slow)
    Homemade Chorizo Meat Balls
    Crispy Smoked Spicy Chicken Tenders  (Final test run this weekend!)

    The weather is looking good, hope to see many of our EggHead brothers there.
    Should be a great day for a BBQ Brethren BASH!

    1 DAY till the N Texas Brethren Bash

    Well looks like we are in the home stretch.
    So check your lists and see if you are missing anything.
    You still have a day or so to round it up.
    Don't forget to invite your family, neighbors, and friends.
    We will have a couple of stick burners, a Weber or two and a couple of BGE Eggs on site.
    So bring a cooker if you like or we can find space somewhere for your grub to cook.
    And remember to bring a comfortable camp chair or two.
    A side or two would be great and a cooler with a few beverages, both adult and not, would be nice!

    For those or who may be traveling, please be safe and we will see you at the Bash on Saturday!!
