Rendered the trimmings overnight in the crockpot on low with a 1/4C water. Chopped, and added the crunchy, flavor packed golden nuggets back in. Also got 3/4C of white lard. A win win, when normally it would get tossed in the trash.

Some great looking meat! Not being a diehard fan of baseball, I can say without a doubt I'm glad I got to experience this world series! It's nice to see the cubs get the W and for their fans to be able to enjoy the moment with them. Seemed like much of the U.S. was pulling for the cubs in game 7, I know I was!
