Pickle Juice Brined Chicken Tenders on the MiniMax

Hotch

Took some chicken tenders and brined in dill pickle juice for about 5 hours. Patted dry and then rolled in a blend of rubs.
Had my MiniMax setup indirect at 280 degrees.
Loaded them on on flipped them at the 10 minute mark.
Pulled them when the bunch hit an IT of 160.
Shelly made 3 dipping sauces.
Creamy Parmesan, Creamy Hourse Radish Bacon dip and Dixie Style Pickle Mustard sauce.
Apoligize for pics out of order, on my IPad..
Thanks for looking

Well, I thought I had heard about just about every way to brine. This is totally new to me.
Did the meat have a pickle flavor?

Yes just a bit. My rub was a bit strong so next time I will use more of a SPOG rub and a bit of a milder chili powder.

Looks good,  Hotch! I bet those would make a killer sammich. Love the dipping sauces too.

Looks great ole buddy. On a similar note, once when I was speaking to a Brisket God, he told me that Franklin refers to pickle juice as unicorn tears. Don't know for sure if it's true or not. Just sharing what a God shared with me. Makes one ponder though........

@SGH and @caliking Thanks, Next round I plan on adding a little fish sauce, a few spices and a bit of hot sauce to the pickle juice. And let go for about 8 hours.
Then cook them up like a catfish bake.
@Popsicle showed me how he does it. He bakes catfish fillets on the Egg and I swear you you think they are fresh from a deep fryer.
