Tomorrow is my dads so I wanted to make him some ribs for the big day. This is going to be an interesting test for me since we spend Sundays at his place for a day of football but our game is at 9:30am and the plan is for a family breakfast. These ribs will be for a late lunch/supper but it means I have to smoke them here and then finish them tomorrow on my dads Weber.
Anyways, just a picture to start us off of the ribs rubbed and resting before they kit the Egg. Using St. Basil's BBQ Chop and Rib Rub from Oakland Spice Shop (my sister in law sent it, figured I should try it).

More updates to come!

Looking forward to the updates!

3 hours later and they are off to be wrapped. Normally I go around 2 hours here but I'm going to short it slightly to see how it goes with them saying overnight before being heated/sauced.
Also new is I'm using some date sugar and more of the rub for the wrap. Not sure how the flavor will go but we will see.

I pulled them after 90 minutes wrapped but no pictures. I will post finished pictures this afternoon once I finish them at my Dads.

Alright just finished them up in my dads grill. They came out okay, a little dry and flavor didn't pop as much as I was expecting even though I sausced them. My dad enjoyed them and that's what counts. Overall I think the delayed finished was just fine if needed but obviously would prefer them come off the Egg fresh.
