I've got one a lot like it. Mine actually hooks up to a gas line, which seems a little weird.Eggscuses said:

Ironically enough - the "Silver thing" hasn't been used this summer since The Green Dragon arrived. And if you lift it up - you will see all my Egg stuff being stored in there...discarded like an old girlfriend...Still need an official storage unit on the patio...BGE L, Minimax, iGrill 2, Kick Ash Basket, CGS AR, various and sundry overpriced accessories...

Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. Degree of Kool-Aid consumption a matter of preference. Ask away and you will likely get several different answers, all of which will work. This thread is hilarious to me as I watch all the same things happen to everyone that is new....myself included! It actually makes me feel much better about myself now.

I noticed that too, the chili was listing badly! Then I saw it was the grate that was tipped, not the Egg.tikigriller said:Your pictures of food make it look like you cook on a hill!
I've done that a couple times in the beginning, letting the grate slip over the platesetter's leg; I learned to make sure the grate wires were orthogonal to one leg, and then all was fine.
Congrats, and Welcome!
