Some stuff I cooked for my old uncle

Had a great visit from my favorite uncle that is 81 years young. I got to drive him to a wedding and he spent the weekend with us. I had the chance to cook for him and sit around and hear all of his stories that I love so much. We sat out and enjoyed some fall weather on my kitchen-in-progress. We cooked paella, dove appetizers, bread, beef ribs, scratch baked beans, roasted potatoes, and bread pudding. Good times for sure; this is what life is all about.  I wish he could stay longer...

Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Dang, dang, dang...off the charts with that whole deal.  Great set-up as well.  I'm sure your uncle had a memorable time as I know you did.

@northGAcock @lousubcap @bhedges1987 @Focker @pgprescott Thank y'all for the kind words. I love having a place outside to sit and relax, have an adult beverage, and visit and tells lies... I should have built this kitchen long before now.

I'm going to have to schedule a flat tire or mechanical breakdown next time I pass through on the way to Lubbock so I can hang out on your patio.  Food looks fantastic as always, love the kitchen, the variety of cooking equipment and methods.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

No need to have a breakdown - just stop by. It would be nice to meet you.
