Oh, so you're one of those people that justifies squatting in the passing lane because you're above the speed limit....fishlessman said:no crocs here but i like to go 80 in the fast lane and watch the faster drivers merge int the 45 mph middle lane with the cell phone texters, then switch to the faster slow lane, cross back over where i cut them off in the fast lane again

would you rather have me slow down to 45 in front of you in the fast lane to merge back into the middle lane of idiots

Big v10 vans are where it's at. Plenty of room for everyone and all their crap.a good spot to sleep it off after drinking to much.awesome to tailgate from. After driving it for a few years everything else feels hard to see out of. First ford I've ever owned and I would drive it anywhere. The plan is to drive the wheels off it, then put them back on.2-XLs ,MM,blackstone,Ooni koda 16,R&V works 8.5 gallon fryer, express smoker and 40" smoking cajun

My wife had dozens of them for Demo's over the years and we only had one child. She was a school RN and loved the side doors of the Toyota and rear door being able to open with a clicker. When we had to buy 2 vehicles when I retired a couple of years ago she said hers would be a van. In Two years we put over 60,000 miles on it traveling. I have all new respect for the Vans.

After dealing with the insurance for a couple of weeks, we were finally in a position to get a new vehicle. SWMBO went searching this weekend for something she liked. We looked at newer models of her previous car (Hyundai Sonata) and several other comparable models from different makes.
Out of nowhere yesterday afternoon I got a call. "How about a van?" Never in a million years would I think that I would own a van at 32 years of age. Never.
Meet Blanche, our new Kia Sedona.
Pros:
- a ton of room for our growing crowd of miniature human leeches.
- drives surprisingly well.
- warranty on it is awesome.
- has room to travel with the BGE of needed.
Cons:
- it's a van.
- gas mileage is well below the last car
Lessons Learned:
- if the wife wants a van, your getting a van.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd. -

It was my call this past summer to rent a minivan for the 4 of us plus my mother-in-law to drive from ATL to PCB for a week vacation. There was room to spare inside with all the in-floor storage. For the non-necessary items, beach toys, pool toys, etc, I tossed a camper top on the roof rack. I'll say that having room to breathe was very nice. The 12 year old daughter (mini- 'egger) liked it she didn't want to turn it back in!!!LBGE since 2014

When I turned 16 I got to drive my Dad's 1994 Ford Aerostar van. That van was in mint condition without a scratch on it when given the keys for the first time. We're talking straight off the assembly line and parked most of it's life. My Dad worked at home and sat in the garage for years hardly driven. My friends and I would pile up in that thing and tear it up. It was a green van and to this day it's still regarded as the "turtle van". Constant tranny drops (rev it up in neutral and slam it into drive and see if we could lay rubber) Twice a week the needle would be buried at 90mph racing my frinds Honda Civic between classes. I smacked Bambi one late night with it. Someone decided to smash their car into the drivers side door one night who left the scene when parked at my friends house in high school. That poor van. I probably took a good 40,000 miles of that van's life in about 5,000 miles. I think the van made it to 80,000 miles before Obama gave my Dad $4,500 for it when it was worth about $67. Moral of the story, don't let them fool you that it's just a van when giving them the keys when older....

My dad got a gold astro from the John Deere fleet. Damn thing was solid. Worked great for baseball team caravans.
Parents let me borrow it to fill up for a David Allen Coe concert in Clinton, IA at the Pig Pen. It dumped a large amount of snow right before, and during the show. Many Buds and Crowns later, I ended up putting it in the ditch fully loaded, somewhere in BFE. A bright idea was provided to use the floormats for traction. They got F'd up. We had a couple vehicles pick us up. Went out the next day with my Blazer and a log chain, pulled it out. Got lucky, no damage. My dad, was not happy to say the least. HahahaBrandonQuad Cities
