That's very touching. I hate it.SmokeMyBitchUp said:
Hey guys meant to share a while ago as promised. This was a wedding gift for a buckeye friend. He's getting married and they've been together for 4 years, so I started with 4 buckeye stickers and they can add one every year.

Just kidding, I think.Flint, Michigan -

Nice job. Now that you have finished are you going to redo it with the new Spartan green?

Nike has done the same at Tennessee... Throwing out new ideas and hip uniforms. Apparently it influences and helps kids decide which college to go to.. GeezGreen egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

Thinking about the stickers how will they hold up with the heat? Would melting be an issue?"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

That is great! Now I have to start figuring out how to put one of these on mine. That may not be so easy; a Spartan works great as a profile! A terrapin...not so much

Frankly surprised no Tide fan has weighed in to suggest a 0-38 stencil.henapple said:Speaking of MSU.....

Guess I shoulda' bought a Kamado Joe. -

Nice work. I have an older egg I would love to touch up.
What did you do for prep, primer?
Have kicked around using Duplicolor ceramic or VHT engine enamel. Some of those classic muscle car colors like the Grabber Boss 427s and Shelbys, and Mopar color schemes, would be bada$$ since I can't afford the real thing.BrandonQuad Cities

I think melting is definitely a potential issue. They are pretty heavy duty, I bought them on eBay from a guy who claims they are official helmet stickers. They seem pretty legit, so I'm hopeful. If not, I'll just remove them and paint silver backWeberWho said:Thinking about the stickers how will they hold up with the heat? Would melting be an issue? -
I just did a very light steel wool prep at first but quickly learned that these glaze coatings are bullet proof.Focker said:Nice work. I have an older egg I would love to touch up.

I love the custom color idea, please post when you go that route!!! -
Temperature will play havoc on thin film applications. Not only for the material of the decals, but how it will deteriorate the adhesive utilized for the decals. There are glues that are designed for high heat, but most are not used for decals. The other issue is expansion and contraction of the unit from constant heating then cooling.SmokeMyBitchUp said:
