I rarely get to see my Mum as she lives on the other side of the planet. She's visiting for the first time since adding the Eggs to the family, so I cooked a pizza to show her what they could do. She really enjoyed it.
The pizza had Moroccan lamb sausage, goat's cheese and spinach toppings with some extra mozzarella added for good measure. Details of how I made it available here.
Now for the obligatory pictures ...
The pizza with toppings ready to go, I use a pastry mat to get the right size. Yes, I have circular pizza OCD .
Cooking on the egg at 400C, using fire bricks to raise the egg up into the dome
Sliced and ready to rock
A close-up ... because SWMBO likes taking close-up shots

That's a great pizza.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

She requested another one before we go .
Something different though. I'll have a crack at a veggie one I think. I liked the look of the one @northGAcock did earlier this month and we do still have some fresh basil.

I wrote a short guide for how I cook pizza with the egg on my food blog last week, may be worth checking out. There's a section on the set-up and the use of bricks.
