Anyone have a meatball recipe they could share? I had some at a baseball tailgate recently and was looking to try some of my own.

pssst - unless you are only serving to your loved ones and not handing them out to strangers like at an Eggfest in the form of Monkballs then it's hard to beat pre-made meatballs available in 6 pound bags like from SAM'S. Shoot - even for your loved ones with spaghetti and sauce they are GREAT!

There's a recipe here somewhere for buffalo chicken meatballs I tried a few times. Try the search function. They were amazing.

3 lb meat
1.5 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
.5 Cup Parm Cheese (grated)
1 TBSP cut garlic
3 eggs
mix very well, roll to size.

It's hard to beat a smoked meatball - either with spaghetti, or as an appeteaser.
I have no recipe - sorry. I'll use ground beef mixed with pork, veal, or even chorizo depending on the application. Nothing leaner than 80/20
For seasoning, I'll use Worcestershire, sirracho, SPG, onion flakes etc - It's definitely a "by feel" type of thing - dependent on what they will be used for.
Since they cook so quickly, I use mesquite to get some good smoke - this is my preference - plenty of people hate mesquite.

I'll give a shout out to @dyal_sc and @nuke1855 - I've made these several times and they will beat the hell outta anything you buy frozen in a bag. Give em a try you won't be sorry.

Also this. Last night ground turkey with diced bacon and romano cheese meatballs topped with Swiss cheese.

Brother it's ironic that you asked this today. I'm getting ready to make that very thing. I have the meat thawing as we speak. If you have access to venison and Russian boar, I can tell you how to make meatballs that will make your head spin like a hippies in a windstorm.joeybrown105 said:Anyone have a meatball recipe they could share? If you like I will post the amounts and process if you are interested my friend.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

My wife makes these meatballs a lot. They work really well with ground venison too. And they aren't dry in the least. Great simple recipe for meatballs:

I just usually use my meatloaf recipe which is pretty close to what @Battleborn posted above. I like do mine at 250 to 275 indirect till they are done or you can go direct and get them done faster. By the way @joeybrown105, if you have not tried meatloaf on the egg yet I highly recommend it.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I really like this recipe. It uses only beef, and they cook in the oven. It's from an old episode of bobby flay throwdown.

I have some venison/Russian boar meatballs slow smoking over Southern Pecan wood at 180 degrees as we speak.

@blind99, thanks for posting this!! These meatballs were OUTSTANDING!! I didn't even bother with any pasta, just meatballs and sauce, The recipe made about 30 meatballs so I have lots left! I noticed that the only real difference between Maroni's sauce and the Lidia Bastianich recipe (that I really love) is that Maroni's has onion in it. Since I already had Lidia's in the freezer, I went with that. What a great meal!blind99 said:I really like this recipe. It uses only beef, and they cook in the oven. no shame intended, just that your statement sounded a little like someone extolling the virtues of the McRib for its tastiness & ability to be effortlessly pulled from a bagRRP said:
