New Guy
I have reviewed this site before over the last several years whenever I get the urge to get a BGE. I've threatened to do so for years and now I am jumping in. Tomorrow is the beginning of the EggFest deal here in Louisville and I've already picked everything out and have my price. Just can't get the sales price until tomorrow. Really looking forward to it as I'm tired of hearing how great these are and want to experience it for myself. I'm an experienced smoker/griller and have several Webers including the Weber Smoky Mountain. Have become fairly proficient with that and now looking to expand here. Look forward to learning from you all and hopefully sharing some of my insights in the future.
Thanks. Steve

Welcome to the Eggdiction. I too have WSM and I still use from time to time on big cooks, but my XLBGE is my go to grill/smoker/oven. You won't need a water pan with the BGE like the WSM. Enjoy the adventure you are about to embark on.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Welcome - and the eggdiction comments are real. Had our egg for about 1 1/2 months. Haven't used the oven since and used the stove once - after a total kitchen remodel. and then there's the add-on purchases... But what great food and good fun - and the board is both hysterical and a source of incredible advice and experienceDoug
