Ribolator Update

Hi All:

The adjustable ribolator doesn't fit.  Looks fine until it spins and then it doesn't clear the bottom of the large BGE.  Back to the drawing board.

BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500.  Obsessed with rotisserie.

not familiar with the apparatus, but could you take a hack saw to it to shorten the "throw"?

As I had mentioned in the previous thread - the fix to shorten the trays is very simple if one has the right tools/skills.  If one does not have the tools/skills a local machine shop could cut a half-inch off each of the "male" trays. It's a 5 minute, $20 job.

However, while that fix works on the KJ Classic in allowing the Ribolator to clear the Joetisserie and spin just fine if it is also hanging up on the bottom of a Large BGE there may not be a simple fix for that as I'm not certain how the base/fire ring/fire box height/profiles differ between the KJ Classic and BGE Large.
