Hello all! Embarrassingly long time lurker, first time poster. Known about the Egg for about 8 years, and now a new XL owner. Have cooked BB ribs, burgers, brats, chicken and even hot dogs (Koegels) so far. I know, post pictures or it hasn't happened. Will do that soon, and can't wait to share future cooks and keep soaking in the Egg community. Thank you all!

Love my xl welcome!“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

I haven't lived in Flint, MI since I went off to college in the '60s, but I still love Koegel Viennas, and Flint-style Coney Islands. I've even mail-ordered Koegel Viennas and Coney Sauce to make my own, but they weren't as good as they used to be at Angelo's before it was sold. You can't go back. Still, I'm glad you're cooking Koegel dogs in your XL!BigKize said:Hello all! Embarrassingly long time lurker, first time poster. Known about the Egg for about 8 years, and now a new XL owner. Thanks Theophan! I figured if I had to Egg some dogs, I'd go with our faves. The XL held burgers, brats and dogs that day for a family event, and the dogs were a big hit. Thanks again.Theophan said:
