Almost my last meal....

.... as an involuntary bachelor.  One more day and reunited with The Spouse.

I haven't gone crazy over the last three weeks, in fact I've lost 5 pounds.  Tonight I thought I would have a what the hell meal.

Spicy (actually very spicy) Italian sausage subs.

  • My wife and 3 kids are away as well. They left Sunday after church. I end up working more and drinking more when they are away. Why go home to an empty house?
I've just got my 44hrs in since Monday, I'm off the rest of the week off and meeting them up at the cottage. Let the good times roll.
  • I think you may need some life coaching on how to do this "bachelor" thing.

    Step One: Fire up Egg.

Step Two: Open bottle of the good stuff.

Step Three: Toss a Low and Slow piece of meat on the Egg.

Step Four: Surf eggheadforum for about four hours on your phone.

Step Five: Wake up in the morning with a burnt piece of meat and a thousand mosquito bites...needing some biscuits and gravy in a bad way.

    Step Six: Repeat as necessary.

Welcome to the club! I'm enjoying the bachelor life... Been single for 5 months.. I've ate more venison and fresh stuff from the garden than I have in the past 2 years

Left to our own devices we gravitate to our own dietary center, whatever that may be.  In a former married life I ate much worse & drank much more; as a now seasoned (nearing 5 years) voluntary bachelor I’ve come to realize that eating as I wish 3x/day 7 days/week is a perk of life I can’t fathom loosing.

To Doc Eggerton, sandwiches look great, they look like philly rolls?
