@SGH. I so wish I could help you. My Mother has made at least 50,000 meat pies for the church, it's their go to fund raiser. $2.50 apiece but in order to make money they are pretty generic. Great and an awesome quick meal when the egg is in neutral but just meat, veg and gravy.

Brother Mac, generic or not, I would love to try her recipe if she is willing to share it. When time allows, I'm going to try every recipe that everyone has shared. In my mind, one of them had to be close.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

I will send for sure. That 50K may be low. She has a freezer just for church meat pie items. She is 75 and spends half her time looking for deals on stuff for pies. She once bought 32 turkeys because the price was good and she had room. They do beef and turkey. Both choices (ala Blues Bros...we have both types of music..Country and Western...)
The irony is she's not even that religious but it's a town of 200 people and you do what you do for the community.
