Did my first spin on the egg today. Keep it simple doing just chicken wings. I was surprised how quite the motor runs. The chicken came out great, had that crunchy skin and very moist. Going to step my name up to leg of lamb next.

That looks fantastic! Two questions...where does the basket come from, Amazon? And please tell us how you cooked the wings--time, temp ( I see it's direct), anything else you can tell us. It doesn't look like you need much charcoal.Judy in San Diego

@Judy Mayberry the basket came from Amazon. I got the 18 dollar basket but I wish I had paid the extra for the stainless steel which I still may go back and get. I used some Cajun injection and cooked direct around 400 degrees for a little over 30 mins. No not much charcoal needed at all.

Big fan of the joetisserie and your cook looks great. Keep posting. I have both baskets. Did reverse sear ribeye caps in them this week. Spin almost everything now. Really enjoyed butterflied Cornish hens recently.BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500. Obsessed with rotisserie.

What size is that? Looks like a large? Does KJ make one for a medium or XL? I would do pork butt like al pastor or lamb for gyros..
