My first cook and many thanks to everyone on the forum

It took me a long time to do it but I finally took the leap and purchased a LBGE and it was delivered this weekend. We didn't have the table finished but it was close enough to start cooking. Still need to but the end piece on and a little more trim work which I should get done this week. For my first cook decided to try ABT's with home made pimento cheese, sirloin strips on top (marinated in an oriental marinade) and wrapped with bacon. Next cooked au gratin potatoes using nolaegghead's recipe (these turned out great) and cooked a buttermilk pie using the top rack of the PSWOO. Finally it was time for the meat. Decided to try chicken for my first cook I did wings and thighs so if I messed up and ruined the meat it wouldn't be an expensive loss but they turned out good.

 This thing cooks fantastic! :o

I've been coming to this site for a long time and have learned so much from everyone here about the in's and out's of cooking on the egg, recipes, and what to do and not to do the learning curve is not going to be very bad. Still played with vents all day trying to get that temp just right but it was fun.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday and thanks again everyone on here for helping to make my first cook a success.
