Took a break from yard work to make a quick lunch...pre marinated meat from HEB (not my idea), tortillas, left over beans, an avocado.

Looks great. Just wondering how you do a  "quick" cook? Do you throw the meat on as soon as you get to temp or let it stabilize for a longer period to build more coals? Sometimes my quick cooks are only direct right in the middle over the burning coals there because most of my surface area is indirect over unlit. Seems the fastest I can cook anything is about an hour.

@Captain Paul I guess quick is relative. I used a MAP torch to light and left lid open about 15 minutes until I had a good fire going, closed lid for maybe 15 minutes or so, then threw the chicken on raised direct. You can get going fast if you use a torch or Loftlighter, you just hold it for a minute or two and you'll have open flames
