I talked to the local distributer and they are not sending anymore out for next 30 days until they can meet the demand for it.
There is 3 different versions, Not your Father's at 5.8% APV, Not your Grandfather's at 10% APV and your Great-Grandfather's at 18%

I agree.  And if I want a root beer, I drink......... a root beer.  To me this is a way to disguise the alcohol, same level as a wine cooler or something.

Same for me.  Drink one and on to something way less sweet.  My wife likes it but doesn't like beer.  Our secretary at work tried it and she said all she could taste is beer.     All i taste is rootbeer.

It's not bad.  If you are into the hard sodas Henry's Hard Orange is very good too.  Taste just like an orange crush.

Buddy and I split 3 tallboy 4 packs in our packs walkin the woods, kept the empty cans for the return stagger back to the truck.

A float with some Whitey's Vanilla kicks a$$ too.

It was a novelty when it was the only one on the market, now there are a half dozen overly sweet malt root beers on store shelves.
As usual, the companies go overboard when they see a demand.  Only bothers me because the fridge space hasn't changed and they're pushing some fine craft brews off the shelf!

I agree with it being waaaayyyy to sweet. I like root beer but not these. I have two left from a six pack from about 8 months ago. Maybe I need to get some vanilla vodka to mix the last two with.

I like this stuff quite a bit.  I've only tried the 5.9% version, but I'd be willing to give the 10.7% version a try too.

i like root beer and i like beer. Id rather have the separate. Didn't dig it. It was too sweet trying to mask the alcohol.
