Direct heat ribs

I did ribs like a month ago and used someone's direct heat method. I can't find that method anymore and I was wondering if someone can help me our with a direct heat method?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I've only done them a few times. Doable, but a bit more fuss. Essentially, grill raised to felt level. Dome 250-ish. Turn and mop every 1/2 - 3/4 hours to avoid charring. Most of the few times, I did them verticle in a rack. That way some of the meat was always shaded by itself from the direct IR.

I have found a few posts on this. This is an old one:

Note there is a post from Dave Katz to his blog: Robust Ribs that gives a lot of details. Raised direct, not too much lump so you get a low, even fire.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
