Finishing brisket in oven help please !!

Mornin everyone
i just had to pull a brisket off the egg and want to finish it out in the oven,it's 165 internal temp,I just wrapped it in HDF and it's going in the oven.what temp should I cook at?  I have a old time thermometer.can I just poke it through the foul into the brisket? Or will touching the foil mess up the temp?

You can poke it through. Cook it wherever you want. I'd go 275

Whatever temp you run the egg at, set that temp in the oven. And no problem poking the probe through the foil.

And always remember that the finish-line indicator is the "probes like buttah" feel in the thickest part of the flat.  Pay no attention to anything with the point-it is along for the ride.
