I'm gonna use it to hold BBQ sauces for a cookout that's being planned. 
I like my butt rubbed and my pork pulled.

    you must live in a state that re-plates annually. Here in IL we went 17 years before new plates were issued. That was in 1987. Then we went 14 more years with the same plates which finally got replaced in 2001 - so we are now into our 15th year.

    Lookd cool. But i'm waiting for all the alarmist 'phobes here to advise against it because of coating, paints, metals, etc. :)

    I ran it thru the dishwasher first. I think nuts or M&M's would be fine. I don't think I'd put salsa in it.

    They use plates here multible years. They issue stickers each year. I found this plate on the interstate. I picked it up when I stopped for a cooler that had been lost out the bed of some truck. Spaightlabs said:

    I wish I didn't have to run a front plate or I'd make another from the front of The Hemi.

    Wonder if I can make one of those out my license plate?

    I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

    I'm fine with it myself. Just seen people freak here about foil in the egg or rutland gaskets.:)

    I've been collecting license plates for the past couple of months for sign making and a scoreboard.  I've seen that license plate dish on Pintrest and they're cool.  Nice job!
