I haven't Egged since BB brother. Sounds terrible, but the Eggs are still on the trailer attached to the truck, in the back yard.------------------------------

I did a little egging last night..... 8 marinated boneless/skinless chicken breasts, 8 gourmet burgers (my own secret recipe) and a package of Nathan's hotdogs for my son. He's been asking for hotdogs for a couple of weeks. Yep...they taste better when egged. Oh...and I egged some mixed veggies. We should have plenty for dinner for the next few nights.
@northGAcock That's some nasty rain!BGE novice...A Southern Belle living in Seattle. -
I'd be pretty unsettled as well. Sorry about the rain mess, that's pretty bad. I would suggest a libation or two until the water dispersed, but that is no answer. Hang in there.northGAcock said:

Well it's all done now but we were Egging earlier! Vidalia Onion Cornbread, It was awesome and we will for sure be doing it again. Someone in BGE FB BBQ Eggers posted it and we almost followed the recipe. Here is the recipe that we used as a starter, http://sweetsavant.com/2015/07/29/vidalia-onion-upside-down-broccoli-cornbread/We have been making a Krusteaz Honey Cornbread, Bacon & Cheddar Mini Corn Loaves at Eggfest for several years as a breakfast treat and people tell us that it's very good.
So KayNOcook and I looked at the recipe and said why don't we just use our Krusteaz box recipe and omit the Broccoli.
We also omitted the green onions but will not next time, we also add more cheese and bacon bits than called for, who doesn't like more cheese and bacon? Most likely will add some honey to the cornbread next time because we normally do so and if you can get Orange blossom honey do so it's the best.
I know I don't post cooks very much just because I'm lazy. This is a great cook and KayNOcook and I had a great time doing it. Jim & KayNOcook

Wife is Mexican, please was informed that because today is Sinkodmayo she wants Carne Asada Tacos. She had me pick up a couple bags of Corn tortillas from her favorite Tortilla shop when I was in Phoenix....

Did the bacon wrapped, dehydrated pineapple, with the Honey, Siracha and Bourbon Glaze. Totally off the charts. Next door neighbor just happened to drop by as I pulled them from the grill. He jammed about 8 down. There were no prisoners. Mine got a bit scorched, but the resulting crust was awesome.
I absolutely recommend serving these with a dry French Rose wine.
This was delicious at the NC2B, and it is the first recipe I have tried. I am going to be doing more of them over the next few weeks.
Thanks to all for sharing your recipes, I am nailing them to the wall."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

A couple of bone in 45 day dry aged prime ribeyes. Our daughter came down from Chattanooga so I thought we'd feed her a nice lunch.
