Will Kamado Joe Divide and Conquer fit a Large?

Apologies if this had been covered in previous threads - the search function never works on my mobile.

If it will in fact fit a Large, any reason not to choose this over the standard plate setter?!

No, it's not just you, the search function on the forum is nearly useless. Instead, use Google. Just type "site:eggheadforum.com search term" (without the quotes) in a google search box. For this I used "site:eggheadforum.com divide and conquer"

I have that setup in my medium (not using as intended) and it works real well. It is well made.

What do you want the D&C for? I really like the Woo and stones the best.

Going back to the search thing. If you're using Google Chrome, you can type "eggheadforum" in the address bar and hit the Tab key. Then you can search in the forum for whatever you want.

Mostly a combo of direct and indirect as well as the ability to throw a wok on there.

Woo2 and stone from CGS will do all of that, plus add raised direct. I imagine it is cheaper too.

I have a KJ Divide and Conquer in one of my LGBEs
It fits and works fine
I also have have a CGS rib and brisket system in my other LGBE
it works fine too.
Either one is a big improvement over the BGE platesetter

I run the D&C in my XL. I love how the difuser plates are round, eliminating hot spots unlike the traditional plate setter. It fits perfectly. The top level brings the grate height even with the height of the ceramic base, more of a raised direct setup.
