marinated a flank steak all day with soy sauce, olive oil, honey, red wine vinager, cayenne pepper, worcestershire, pepper, minced garlic.
Cooked direct, 600 degrees for about 2 minutes each side.
and my goodness was it fantastic. So tender, good sear. One of the best steaks I've done and so

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
That looks great. I've still never cooked a flank or skirt steak!!! They cost so much around here I always end up just buying a ribeye. Looks excellent!XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

Look's great. This is go to meal for us. Often do it up several days ahead in a ziploc and have it ready to go when I get home late from the office. Very similar marinade.

Makes me hungry. So much so that I hit 4 grocery stores this morning after seeing this posted last night looking for flank steak for fajitas. Unfortunately, no one around here has flank steak so I picked up some thin flat irons for tonight. The flat irons will have to do but that flank steak is perfection!!!XL BGE

Thanks, guys. I can't wait to make it again. So darn good!

I pick mine up at restaurant depot. Usually 5 or 6 to a pack and split it with a friend or marinade a bunch of them, let them sit in the frig for a few days and freeze til I'm ready.

Nicely cooked! My go-to steak. Cook more of these than any other steak. Pull em at 125-130º. As long as you cut against the grain (like you did) and I cut on a 45º angle, they're great every time.Packerland, Wisconsin

Anez, care to give approximate quanities for the marinade as I bought two flank steaks from Costco and would like to try it as yours look outstanding.
