They're not hurting anything. Mine are the same, but if it's purchased new, it's under warranty and you can certainly get new ones.

When mine cracked I had them replaced under warrantee. In the meantime I bought some furnace cement. Filled the cracks. Five years later I still haven't used the new firebox.

It will cook for years like that. Send the pics in and get the parts in the bullpen.
