You've got me, how do you measure the temp on such small pieces?

To be honest, I'm not generally a fan of lamb..... But even I want to see how these turn out.

Sorry I was running late for the tasting and didn't get any finished pics... Did them hot and fast, like 1.5 minutes a side... Good stuff... Tried to pull at 125-130

You still didn't answer how you measures the temp, not much meat there...Phatchris said:Sorry I was running late for the tasting and didn't get any finished pics... Did them hot and fast, like 1.5 minutes a side... Good stuff... Tried to pull at 125-130 -

We tasted seven blind and Catena came out on top.YukonRon said:Cool event, how was the Malbec?
they were all pretty good, Crios was the dog of the lot and Layer Cake came in second.
I brought a Chakana reserve which scored in the middle of the pack.
my head hurts I need a Bloody Mary
lamb was was a hit, but the Mint chimichurri was everyone's favorite , people were putting that sh!t on everything -
That sounds awesome man. Did you follow a recipe for the mint chimichurri or just wing it?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Several years ago, my family did a blind wine tasting of seven $60-100 Malbecs. All in all, we did not score them well and simply came to the conclusion that Malbecs were not for us. At the end of the tasting, my brother-in-law, who is quite the joker, brought a final veiled mystery bottle. This, we all greatly enjoyed and scored significantly higher than the rest of them. Turns out we preferred the $7 bottle of Fuzion.

Either we have horrible taste in wine, or Fuzion makes a great discount beverage. -
Loosely followed this recipe, but added more mint.

Lamb lollipops with mint chimichurri, pesto pasta, shredded beef zucchini boats, cumin pork tenderloin, garlic roasted cauliflower, and cajun roasted chick peas. And a cheese plate followed by a chocolate bundt cake.
