    My XL is from 06 or so. I robbed the thermometer from the Small (?) a while back. I bent the crap out of the one that came with the large. The clip was still on it, shut the lid not realizing the DO was to far forward. Bought a couple of the Smokeware ones that failed.....Haven't replaced them yet. I actually do have 2 thermometers right now....a Teltru that I got from the Stealer and a no frills one that is fogged over so bad it can't be read. Was going to buy another Smokeware one, the night I was on their site it said it was out of stock. On lo & slo cooks I normally use one of my ThermoWorks on the grates so not having a dome thermometer is not really a big deal...Apologies for rambling...
