P T L

No, no!
Not that PTL!

This PTL:
Pork TenderLoin

(It's a stretch, I know.
Watching The Tourney , so that's my excuse.)

Overnight marinade, with leftover roasted cloves o' garlic tossed in . . .

On the Egg at 300° dome

Off the Egg at 135° internal . . . down to fire ring level, direct - for basting . . .

The Baste . . .

The Basting . . .

The result . . .

I asked The Wife if she liked it . . .

Just an easy, carefree cook.
And heavenly.

Moving away from the Tenderloin (which looked outstanding).....Not long ago, my wife and i were headed back to Columbia from Charlotte and found a highly rated restaurant (on one of the apps) in the area of the old PTL empire. It required us to drive about 5-6 miles off of the interstate to reach....but we reminisced as we drove through the area where PTL once existed (Ft Mill SC). Not much to share about that of significance however the restaurant we ate at was outstanding. It was definitely worth the side trip.
