Mustard substitution
I'm doing a pork shoulder tomorrow but want to prep it tonight. Problem is I don't have any yellow mustard for the base. Is there a substitute that I could use?

It is not necessary. There is plenty of moisture on the butt for the rub to stick.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I've used nothing, worsheshire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and apple juice. Cannot tell a difference with any of them.------------------------------

Yes, mayo. I use Dukes but any will do. Result is great bark.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.
