Warranty question...

My fire ring, coal grate, & platesetter are all cracked, have no idea how, just noticed last week when I was cleaning it all out. Is this common? I purchased my egg 12/29/14, still have receipt and all. Should I have any issues getting these replaced? I do have a great egg dealer!

If your egg dealer is as great as you say I would say no with the exception of the fire grate, I have a great dealer and he tells me that BGE will only cover it if cracked into at least two pieces. Not real common except the fire grate and if it was me I would just get a Kick Ash Basket. http://www.kickashbasket.com/

I have a similar fracture in the fire ring of my 8 year old LBGE.  I got a replacement under warranty in January without issue (along with the base which has a hairline fracture and fire box).  My fire grate has also been cracked like yours for 5+ years, I figure I'll replace it when it breaks all the way.
