Uhhh... not true. If one is a subscriber to the Kindle Unlimited program then one can always read it for free. At the moment (and it is a short term deal) the price to actually buy the book is $0.00:

I love a good cookbook. But man, unless it is more than just a collection of recipes, I can type just about anything into google and get more recipes on the first page of hits than I would ever make in my life. I suppose I could type "mango peach prawns" (picked those three ingredients completely at random, based on thinking that they would probably be good) and get a hit... Yep. 480,000 results.

Try "bacon recipes". Over 33 MILLION hits. Even a free book might not be worth the click.
