Those were one if not the very first BGE product dropped when the new guy took over from Ed Fisher. I'm not real sure that even say 80% of the people posting on this forum even know such a product was ever made. Good luck finding one!

Last time I was at Tasty Licks, they had one on the floor for sale. Not sure if they still have one or not.

I have one. You can't afford it.

Use it as much as the BGE.

(And the chimney comes off so you can cook over it too)

Yes my dealer had one last year I wanted it really bad but ended buying a XL. Passed up the chimniea went back later to get it. The BGE salesman said it was so hard to find the salesman bought it and took it with him. That's the only one I ever seen

Also, the stand they come in sucks, it puts the smoke right near eye level when you're sitting next to it. But a large nest is perfect. Love my chiminea.

I have one and I like it. I don't use it as much as I thought when I bought it, it's nice to fire it up on occasion. @Jeremiah if you were closer, you could prolly talk me into selling it. I have no idea how to ship this without breaking it.

To ship without breaking, you might have to build a crate out of plywood and find someone to package it with their instapak system. It is an expanding foam that encapsulates the contents. My previous employer had one for shipping large electronics or machine parts that needed to stay looking like new. It is cool to watch.

I've been planning on buying a chiminea this spring, but damn you @Jeremiah now I've got green on the brain.

Does anyone have a ci chimenea? Any opinions on those vs the common clay ones?

I found one someone was getting rid of when they were moving- I already had a clay one SWMBO is fond of so I gave it to a neighbor. They like it way more than a clay one. Now that my clay one is on its last legs I wish I would have kept it.

@legume I use my ci almost every weekend during spring summer fall. Bought on CL for $80 sandblasted and high temp paint like new

I have this same exact one. It came from China via Sam's Club many years ago.
It works fine, however it is very rusty. It could use a little TLC.

They are already closed for today! And here's the weird part - they are closed Saturdays but open Sundays!
