Any thoughts regarding Nest Handlers
I have a large BGE in the nest and move it in and out of the garage every time I use it. I'm very careful and keep a hand on the nest and the egg while rolling it back and forth but have a fear of tipping it over. Anybody have any experience with the handler? Are they worth the price or even necessary? Thanks in advance for the knowledge.
One large BGE in Louisville, KY.

I have one on my large... Barely move my egg, I wouldn't be without it. Makes moving it so much easier when needed.MSV Chill Spot

Night and day difference. In your situation, you'd be crazy not to get one IMO.

I bought one for my large a year ago and honestly forgot I had it. Still sitting in the box somewhere. Thank you for the reminder. I've heard good things about them

I have one, it's works as advertised AND the 'Big Green Egg' lettering that runs up and down the sides looks pretty cool!I've slow smoked and eaten so much pork, I'm legally recognized as being part swine - Chatsworth Ca.

Have two Larges and both have them.
This happened at a Salado EggFest w/o one: don't catch a falling egg with leg

Have one on my medium and my XL. I love them. Personally, I think they should come with the nest.

Would you be interested in parting with it?WeberWho said:I bought one for my large a year ago and honestly forgot I had it. Still sitting in the box somewhere. Thank you for the reminder. I've heard good things about themSlumming it in Aiken, SC. -

Plus one on adding the handler to your nested egg. The handler makes it easier to move, but more importantly it creates a solid link between the nest and the egg.

- Love mine and you can't even see it in the pics except for the extra cross brace at the bottom.

Pretty sure mine was 80 bucks, but that was nearly 6 years ago. Think they are going for 120 now MSRP. Large egg by the way.I raise my kids, cook and golf. I'll let you know if I change my mind or if it takes up too much room in the garage once on. I found it on clearance for $45 and couldn't pass it up but more less forgot about it. I'll send it your way if something changesJeremiah said:

The handler is a must have for moving the egg around. I take my Large over to the neighborhood pool, over pavers and a couple of curbs. Without the handler, I would be nuts to attempt to move it that far.Happily Egging since 1996, still egging on my original large BGE, along with 6 other Big Green Eggs of assorted sizes.
