Cooking "Drummies"

Cooking drummies in the past always was a PIA. Difficult to turn, even a few fall into hellfire below. What contraption would make this a easier endeavor? I'm thinking of using my CI skillet. We love wings but I'm looking for a way to get the same char and smoke result on the drummies. Ideas?

Cheap pizza screen or grilling screen from Walmart.

There are a few variations around, check Lowes. $6-8 about great for whole wings also.

What @Richard Fl said... Got this one on clearance several years ago for just $2 at Lowes. There is more than one brand of these racks. You can find them on Amazon or at certain hardware stores.

Just to clarify- are you talking about drumsticks (chicken legs) or the section from the wing that looks like a drumstick (aka drumette, drummie, etc)?
