    We give away the table best with the purchase of the table. The manufacture has always insisted they are not needed, but I offer them free of charge to avoid potential customer dissatisfaction in the future. If they don't want them, fine. It's their choice. It should not be an issue for warranty as they openly say they are ok to sit on the cart. That being said, I know that if you use the nest, that I would give you for free, you will not have an issue. That is worth the $30 to me. I would also point out that if you remove ash from the vent, it is a bit easier to do if the egg sit in the table nest and the legs are rotated to the sides and rear of the egg. It does raise the egg, which is a benefit to taller eggers and a detriment to vertically challenged eggers. Happy egging.

    I also suggest using the table nest ($30), why heat up the entire table on a hot summer day? Challenger is one of our best selling Egg tables, I think the table nest gives a extreamly clean look-IMO. The small ceramic feet have caused stress points in the past and cracked eggs, so I we warn against that fix. Good luck you are going to love that challenger cart.
