SRF Taste Test -- We Have a Winner

Reverse seared SRF Rib Eye and Tenderloin filets tonight for a family taste test and vote in this primary season. (Also cheffed up some Arctic char bc why not?)
Used a light hand with coffee rub and salt to keep both samples tightly controlled. Cooked to a perfect RARE, bc that's how people
who know what's what eat em. (Snobs!)
It was a total myoglobin-bath. No survivors. In a very close contest, the rib eye won out. But no one was kicking the tenderloin off the island. These SRF cuts are the real deal, Yo.
2 hours +/- to SRF brisket sale! Gentlemen, start your browsers!
Cheers!
(And eff vanilla for out of ordering my pix!!)

I'm all in with SRF and I'm sure the marbling on the rib eyes won the day. But arctic char is a treat that doesn't get within anywhere close to where I reside. Been too many years since I enjoyed that fish.
Great eats, presentation and thanks for sharing.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
