Spackcock Chicken Fun

Best one to date.  Used an organic chicken.  Salt, pepper, duck fat.  heated BGE to 500, regulated to 450 after putting chicken on the grill, indirect, 45 minutes.  Used cast iron plate setter that may have conducted the lower heat better.  Love the maple leaf lump, btw.  
BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500.  Obsessed with rotisserie.
