Today, a lady that works with my wife brought her children over to my house for ones birthday. He wanted to learn to make pizza for his birthday. Even though I suck at making real pizza, I was all to happy to oblige the little fellow. Even though these are certainly not real, the little fellow had a blast just the same. He now wants a BGE of his own for his next birthday. If I'm still alive and kicking, he will probably get one.

It always warms my heart to put a smile on a child's face. Thanks for looking my friends.

Most excellent.  I assure you, they will be talking about their time as "pizza chef" long after the rest of us have moved on to more mundane topics here.
    Well-done.

While I am sure the kids were happy making their pizzas and eating them, I can read their thoughts behind those forced smiles.

The bottom picture is obviously the first pre-cook picture.
The smiles say "Hurry up with the darn camera and get these pizzas cooking".

The top two pictures you can see are post-cook.
The smiles are saying "Hurry up with that darn camera, I want to eat my pizza".

Outstanding @SGH, it's never too early to teach a child how to cook. Those pizzas are, indeed, real. Just look at those faces. You're a good man, my friend. Who knows what doors you may have just opened for that little guy.

Great job brother and you're absolutely right, about using your time talents and treasure.  Kids remember these moments for a lifetime and will look back fondly on the day the were pizza chefs.

Thank you brother Ozzie. It's no secret that I like to stir up friendly flame wars from time to time. But at the end of the day, it's all in good fun. My nonsense aside, I really do take great pleasure in helping folks out. Especially children and the needy.
