Super bowl cook - partially in the Style of Dixie

Did my normal chicken breast cook for the week. In addition, had to hit a SB party and figured what better thing to bring than the SGH special??? Nothing I say! So threw it on with the chicken at the same time. After all that was done the wife wanted a steak cooked up for salads during the week. Happy to oblige, sad to not eat it.
Friends, when I tell you that SGH's sausage loaf is THE preeminent party dish I do not kid. This thing was gone within 30 minutes of me laying it out. Got many questions on who SGH is. I definitely had some fun with that with this story of how I ran into a master Dixie land chef who took a liking to me and shared a few of his great Dixie recipes. As the legend goes, so long as I cited his work and that it was "in the Style of Dixie" I was free to cook it for others. I swore a blood oath that day to uphold the traditions.
People bought it, God bless alcohol. Many thanks SGH, that simple amazing recipe was a massive hit.
Oh and that little bump you see on top of the sausage loaf was the "chef sampler". I didn't want to lop off a piece prior to the party.

Brother it all looks excellent. And I certainly appreciate the tip of the hat. I'm glad that y'all enjoyed the sausage loaf. It's one of those things that is to simple to be as good as it is. Again, I appreciate the very kind words and am glad that everyone enjoyed it. For a job well done and keeping with the style of Dixie:

Tis the highest honor I could have hoped for. Really is shamefully simple yet was torn apart.Firing up the BGE in Covington, GA
