Now I get what the fuss is about. ..one of the best things I have eaten. I'm sure the look
could be better but I don't think the taste could!

They look great from here! I love those as well. I usually eat some of the point the day I cook it but always do burnt end leftovers.
I made burnt end grilled cheese sammiches on the griddle with my last batch. They were downright sinful. I didn't manage to snap any pics so I have no proof that it happened.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -

Nothing fancy pgprescott...the initial rub was salt.pepper.celery seed.cayenne. paprika.turbinado.garlic powder.onion powder. Did a 14hr at 225 with added pecan and a couple mesquite. At 165 I foiled with Ricks sinful marinade. By accident when I probed I poked through the foil and the marinade went into my drippings pan....wow did that make some good stuff. So I mixed a scoop of that with some water and put the ends in that, sprinkled some AlphaRub on and did them for an hour at 250, then mopped on some bbq sauce and put them back on at 275 for another 30 or 40 mins
