Have not had it in a while. Made it tonight using olive oil and my rub.
Southern green beans seasoned with left over rib meat and potatoes au gratin.
It totally did not suck.

That definitely does not suck. I like the sound of that rub. Never would have thought to use dried tomatoes in a rub. Will have to give it a try some time.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

Use olive oil on the rubdown first. Brings the tomato out! Also use the spray. Every 20 mins.saluki2007 said:That definitely does not suck. I like the sound of that rub. Never would have thought to use dried tomatoes in a rub. Will have to give it a try some time.

You know, being from Kentucky, you have to be able to do chicken, or they really start doubting you as a human being. I have been lucky, I have had great teachers.northGAcock said:Ron......you just showing off now. Man that bird looks great.

Ron, you wax poetic. Admit it, it's thanks to the bourbon.YukonRon said:

i have a long way to go, but I will get there, like The late Joe Cocker and Ringo Starr "with a little help from my friends."

Thank you so much. My Beautiful Wife was not having an exceptional day. I busted out the comfort food, and her day was just a touch better. Wish I could have done more.Mattman3969 said:Awesome meal Ron!"Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I had to go help a friend last night that had shoulder surgery, a week ago. He had some car trouble, and needed some help. I had to change out his battery.
My Beautiful Wife, took over the cooking, it was done, before I got home.
She and our "perfect" children, nailed it.
It was not done on the egg and what was left was not Forum worthy. I have my standards,
