After a month of no red meat...Porterhouse

i realized this morning that we haven't had steak in over a month so I stopped at my butcher and he had beautifully marbled grass fed Porterhouse steaks! Bought a 22 oz. to share with the wife and here are the results! One of the best I've cooked/ate! 2 1/2 minutes a side at 700 degrees direct, seasoned with EVOO, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Dizzy Pig Redeye Express!

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

Beautiful looking piece of beef and an even more beautiful finished product. The crust on that looks amazing.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
