Called this morning and spoke to a polite dude. He said I couldn't speak to anyone who moderated the forum , since they are not in-house at the mothership. He said others have called, and he advised that I email, because even El Presidente takes a keen interest in the forum (really? WOW!).
Be civil if you email or call. Don't call the mod(s) an a$shole like JIC did. That might get you banned.

I suggest the ban was a lifetime achievement award, not based on a single title/post/thread.
There has been a lot of stuff posted - "devastated" comes to mind that left several worthy of ban - and they were not.
