    And here I am grilling burgers on butter enriched bread!  Looking healthy! I'm sure it still tasted pretty darn good too.

    90 minutes, not counting the couple incidental K steps I picked up just doing my routine day.

    Get a Fitbit Surge and a My Fitness Pal account.  I have been losing 1 to .5 pounds a day.

    They probably are. You can't train your way out of a bad diet. 80% of your weight and health is based on diet. Im not one to preach. But do the proper diet first then the exercise. Mtn biking is awesome coupled with the right diet.

  • I've cut away back on the craft beers, which seems to help. I don't eat fast food and try my best to eat "healthy". I still have a couple of weaknesses though like chips. It truly is a lifestyle adjustment in order for it to work and continue to be effective

  • Nice work!  I've been doing the same thing over the last 6 months or so.  I'm down about 40 pounds with another 40 or so to go.  The egg has been great for making relatively healthy but delicious low carb meals.  Counting calories and moving around a bit more is best way to do it.  Good luck!

    The key to weight management is adopting a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle.  Eat whatever you want in moderation making adjustments as you age and move your body every day doing something you enjoy; while this will not give you immediate results, when the results arrive they will remain for a lifetime.

    @Doc_Eggerton   Good for you!

    This forum, and being exposed to all the great food makes eating right very  difficult.

    I'm on the fence - get in shape, or let myself go and just date ugly girls.

    Not at all my friend.  I have lost over 50 pounds in the last year eating all of the foods enjoyed by eggers.

    I have however, eliminated sugar from my diet and increased dramatically the amount of green veggies and healthy fats I eat.

    I carefully time the different macronutrients I consume and I don't worry about calories.

    Very easy once you break the addiction.

    Congrats and thanks for the recipe idea.   I've been a Fitbit Walking, Loseit Tracking, Big Green Eggin machine for the past couple months.   Down 28 lbs and enjoy cooking good healthy food.   I can't help but make a butt, ribs and a few bacon wrapped goodies.  But as @zippylip says - moderation is the key.    Besides - I love a pulled pork (heated up) salad with a little BBQ sauce/ranch dressing.   Certainly,  more calories than the salmon salad - but very tasty and still reasonable calorie count.
